Comments
Comments: Glorious day to be above treeline. Trail is solid pack all the way to the Lakes of the Clouds hut. Approaching the hut and on the way up Monroe hard pack and ice, managed in microspikes but switching to my crampons probably would have made the going faster (especially coming down). Winds were fierce heading up the last stretch to Monroe.
