Spectacular views and no wind at all on a late day run up (3:45 pm start) so the hubby could catch up to us on the Belknaps list. Trail’s in great shape and even the unmaintained Yellow Tr. was broken out. Two of us were spikes and two or snowshoes and hiked in back so we could smooth out the trail. Fellow hikers were split 50-50 on spikes versus snowshoes. I give a slight edge to snowshoes especially on the descent, and given incoming fresh snow.
