Comments
Comments: A beautiful day on this lovely fire tower peak. My first time up from this side. The roads I was on were packed solid by snowmobiles. The trail I was on was packed solid by snowshoes, and it passes by some neat cabins. I could have easily barebooted this, but went with spikes. Snowshoes will be needed after the incoming storm tomorrow.

My route was up the access road, left at a gated road, then right onto a footpath which rejoined the access road to the summit. I took the access road all the way down.

Gorgeous views in all directions from the fire tower cab to the Sandwich Range, the Ossipees, the Lakes Region and into Maine. Crystal clear air today. Also very quiet, only saw a few other people, including two folks who had skied up. No sleds encountered today.
