It was a cold start. Oak Ridge Tr. outlook is excellent. Can see the castle. The group that did Mt. Shaw must have seen my snowshoe tracks. On Faraway Tr. in upper section of switchbacks, some group had cut the corner on just about every switchback. That is bad form. Discovered that Brook Walk is a hidden gem. The ice formations were pretty cool. Much different than the carriage road trails. Almost done winter red lining all these trails. Just 3 left to do. |
