Beautiful day for this lovely woods jaunt! Haystack road was snowmobiled and easy walking. Woods were nicely consolidated snow with powder on top. We picked a pretty good route, maybe only 5 min worth of thicker trees to push through (we wore eye protection) Found a great outlook over towards the Presidentials and basked in the warm sunshine! Some drifting snow and spruce traps towards the top had us struggling but we made it! |
