overall the trail is a highway to the summit. well to the ridge anyway. the summit itself was tough to find (thanks to the two people and dog who had more of a sense of where it was than me) and the snow pack made for some tough areas through the trees. the brutus bushwhack is steep which isn't much of a problem up (thank you heel lifts) but makes for an interesting descent. really not a particularly tough hike for a winter 4000. and then there were 9.... |
