Snowshoes all the way up to where the ladder should be on Hi-Cannon trail. The ladder is currently completely covered in ice/snow. I opted to switch to full crampons for this small section. Others I spoke with were able to do it with microspikes and some used ropes. The rest of the hike up Hi-Cannon and then across to top of Cannon and then down the Kinsman ridge trail could be done with microspikes, snowshoes or crampons. |
