Comments
Comments: One must be careful of skiers on a Saturday morning approaching the top of the lift. When we left the platform there was one man ahead of us on the unbroken trail. A second man passed us and stepped mostly in the footsteps of the first man so lots of breaking left to do for the 2 of us and older ladies are not that strong. We met 2 men who came up from 19 mile brook and one of the men ahead of us went down that way. We decided to give it a try. It was a very slow slog with snow sliding out from under your feet if you were not slow and careful. Because of so much side hill walking chances for a butt sliding were pretty much non existent. Crossing the slides was a bit scary because if your foot step didn't hold you would have a long dangerous slide down. 19 mile brook trail well packed with powder so we were in snowshoes the whole way. All in all it was a nice day in the mountains.
