Lots of light, powdery snow! Airline is now broken out! the upper third of Valley Way was tough due to powder, narrow trail & downhill side of path giving way as we descended. Snowshoes car to above tree line, then traction (most of us used light traction, one person used crampons), then shoes again for the descent. |
