Date of Hike: Friday, March 1, 2019
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: from rt 3 in columbia we drove north jordan hill road to its plowed end where it transitioned into snowmobile usage. this was somewhere between 1200-1300 ft. the road is fairly steep and though currently plowed for a stretch it is not sanded and was a little slick in spots. having driven by a few times this winter it is worth noting that it has not always been plowed out so your experience may vary. currently there is room to park far enough over so as to not block snomo access.

Comments
Comments: we walked up the snomo packed road to an old camp and trailer where the road turns more south and a gated camp road (respectful hiker access welcome) continues straight. the camp road was untravelled and the breaking was a bit of work generally 6-12" with a decent base though the warm afternoon sun was making the snow sticky. at the end of the road we started our bushwhack up in open woods and managed to stay on a good and never too steep line up to the summit and recognized highpoint. we returned in our tracks.
