Comments
Comments: Packed trail up to Pierce, with a shortcut up to the summit leaving the trail about a tenth of a mile from the Webster-Cliff junction sign. Snowshoes worked best as snow was a little soft but it can be done in light traction. Over to Eisenhower the snowpack is high through the scrub and soft, wind-drifted crunchy snow over the exposed parts. Snowshoes were perfect, I tried to pack it down as best as I could where it was trashed by barebooters in spots. Beautiful afternoon above treeline, Felt like late April up there :)
