Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Although there were no plowed parking spaces, per se... the road & shoulder was plowed extra wide a few hundred yards north of the trailhead. There were "no parking" signs close to the trailhead; there were no signs prohibiting parking a few hundred yards north, just past a bend in the road. We parked there and had all four wheels off the road.

Comments
Comments: Hiked a lollipop loop, Romley-Remick > Old No. Groton Rd. > Bald Knob Tr. > Beeline Tr. > High Pasture Loop > and back to our track out. Broke trail through crusty snow; didn't sink far in... so it was fairly pleasant. Views to be had from both Bald Knob and Crosby Mtn. (NH500). Lots of animal tracks and nice hardwood forest views.

Map can be found online (Cockermouth Forest / SPNHF).

Fun (if not cold) day out with Steve, Ken, Marianne, Jerry, Ann Marie & Adrian.
