Comments
Comments: Noticed snowshoe fresh tracks entering Haystack Rd at the No. Twin trailhead. They must have come up from Little River Rd but not sure. Haystack Rd added 1.5 hours to the trip (fatbike, skis, or hitching on a hitching a ride on a snowmobile could be options if time is an issue), packed out by snowmobiles and a lovely quiet road since most snowmobiles didn't go to the trailhead.

Since a few dusting of snow and other snowshoes packed out trail, light traction was all that was needed. However, snowshoes would be handy as No. Twin Trail gets out on the ridge with views of Presidentials. The trail was obscured by windblown snow. Another observation-- even on a bluebird day, the No Twin Trail is in the shade from 10:30-1:30 (FYI).
