Great day for a hike - near perfect conditions. Trail up to North Hancock is well-packed and we wore spikes all the way up. Great, wide views on top of North Hancock. Loop trail across to South Hancock was a bit less packed, we opted for snowshoes (but saw others complete the trail with just spikes). A few places with multiple sets of unexpectedly diverging tracks across the ridge - but not too confusing. Trail down from South Hancock is well-packed and we opted for to switch back into spikes. |
