Comments
Comments: We got a late start at 10:30am and the parking lot was pretty full. Plenty of folks on the trail today. Most in spikes but we opted for snowshoes. The snow was softer and not really consolidated or packed so snowshoes seemed to work better for us. Crawford Path was in great shape and we made good time up to Pierce. From Pierce to Ike, travel was a little slower. The trail was definitely less packed out and snow shoes really made a difference. There are some spots on the Eisenhower Loop that are all ice but we managed fine in snowshoes with a little care. Great day to be out on the mountains for sure. Sunday's snow may change things considerably.
