Comments
Comments: The trail was well packed from trailhead at 302 along the Avalon trail, so spikes worked well. Snowshoes went on at the junction with Mt. Avalon. Loose powder all the way over Field to Willey. Postholes along the way, but many snowshoers helped pack the trail. Beautiful day with clear skies and little breeze, plus cool people on the trail made for a fun hike.
