Parking/Access Road Notes: We parked on Rt. 3 in the snowmo parking just north of Magalloway road. We are told (and have noted at both ends) that Magalloway road is plowed in it's entirety. South Bay Tr. was plowed too. Both plowed roads are closed to unauthorized vehicles. Corridor 5 along the west side of the peak is closed due to the logging.

Comments
Comments: Magalloway Road, South Bay Trail (road), Corridor 5 (closed section), Bushwhack

We booted all the way to corridor 5 where it leaves the road and starts to head up the west side of the peak, as the road is plowed and hard packed. We switched to snowshoes for the closed corridor. Past snowmobile traffic provided a base under a few inches of powder. We took this to the height of land and then slightly downhill to where we bushwhacked in wide open woods south east to the recognized highpoint. Snow off trail was mainly supportive with a few inches of powder on top and some deeper sinking higher up. The round trip was about 17mi.
