There was evidence of a monorail but a few inches of fresh snow required that it get broken out again. There were two of us in snowshoes as well as a barebooter on the mountain today. We packed it nicely but after the split with the Carrigain Notch Trail when you start gaining elevation it could use a few more passes to really solidify it. Snow is coming Sunday so this might be a moot point.
Weather was great. Some wind on the summit but you got full 360 degree views. |
