Comments
Comments: Yesterday's storm yielded a couple of inches of snow with a breakable ice crust on top. Snow underneath crust is soft. Snowshoes very much needed, though the crust was thin enough that someone was able to ski the ridge (no one had been on Old Mountain Road). Snowpack is 3 to 6 feet.
Unfortunately there are still some nasty postholes lurking from the parasitic postholer last weekend.
