Parked on Gale Chandler Road, at a sharp corner, noted as the Landaff village of "Ireland" on some maps. Had to shovel out a spot to get the car a bit more off the road. |

Ore Hill Road (Class 6); ATV road
From where we parked, we walked southerly, up the Class 6 road labeled as Ore Hill Road on several maps. There was a nice snowmobile base under a couple of inches of snow, making for nice travel. Followed this about 1 mile to the HOL. Just prior to the HOL, an ATV trail goes Right / NW to the summit. There had been no traffic on this trail, so we broke trail about 0.5 mile to the summit, which was just outside the WMNF boundary and clearly on private land (not posted). Passed a game cameral along the way… and waved. Easy peak as they go for this time of year!
