Arrived at 7:15am. The trail was well packed and made for excellent snowshoe conditions. We didn't see more than 5-10 people during our out and back hike. Most had snowshoes, with one bare booter. The weather was beautiful! Blue skies, sunny and temps rising from high single digits to the low 20's throughout the day. Barely a trace of wind - couldn't ask for much better conditions for a winter hike in the Whites. The views at the top were great! Clouds started to arrive in early afternoon but still pretty mild temps for February. |
