| Comments: |
The trail is packed down but the snow is thick and full of moisture. This is a snowshoes-or-microspikes trail. (Butt-sliding not practical without a sled given the texture of the snow.) There is semi-exposed ice only near the summit. The trail to the summit is not packed down; other hikers have stomped a more direct alternate route over the top. If you wish to hike the official trail, prepare to break it yourself, and you will need to already know the way. |
