| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Ethan Pond isn't big, so the few cars there took up all those spots. I parked across from Willey house anyway, which had a ton of spots and is much bigger |

Great blazes on Kendron Flume, although they might be due for some touch ups at some point, no issues finding the flume thanks to these. |

I saw Hubert (beagle) and a bigger dog up there that seemed to be doing just fine. |

I broke Kendron Flume trail to Ethan Pond. It was definitely some work, and I lost the blazes before i hit the railroad tracks. It was some tough work, but a worthwhile trek. The blazes stop after the flume, but the trail was easy enough to find. There were two behind me taking the same way.
Ethan pond is a monorail, but Willey Ridge is not as well travelled, and with some butt sliding down it helped pack down the snow, but there is no reason to be off snowshoes. I saw a few people take theirs off and drop into waist deep snow. Plans for a longer trek were put on hold with sore legs, and I decided to take Ethan Pond out to enjoy the monorail, while friends of mine told me Kendron was easy enough on the way out as a result of work it should be pretty packed out now. |
