|
| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Got there early and was able to park in the small lot at the end of Bangor Road (to the left of the trailhead). |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
None! |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There's quite a few duck-under blowdowns. A good portion of the trail is also getting pretty overgrown (probably made worse by the weight from the snow), mainly during the section in between Mt. Surprise and Moriah's summit. |

| Comments: |
The entire trail was a solidly packed track. Most were in snowshoes, although I saw a few barebooting/in microspikes. The trail should be in good shape through to the next snowstorm! |
