 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking at the Ferncroft lot since the first part of the trail is on private land. The lot was covered by a small amount of snow, but it’s still very icy underneath as others have noted. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable) |

 | Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
A few really small step overs and then one easy crossing which can be rock hopped. The crossing also has a trunk bridge which it seemed like others used recently. |

The trail looked great today. It was packed down by the time I got there, but still needed snowshoes the entire way since it’s not firm enough for light traction or bare booting yet. Saw a few others on the trail today as well, all with snowshoes. The trail should be in great shape for the rest of this weekend and the nice weather. |
