| Comments: |
Started around 10am this morning. Trail is soft due to new snowfall and warm temps. A bunch of us in snowshoes seemed to be the first ones making tracks. Unfortunately, a large contingent of folks in spikes were behind us, so the trail got chopped up pretty good. Did my best to smooth it out on the way down, but it will take a lot more snowshoe traffic to make it a highway.
I would say that if this trail needs snowshoes, then anywhere in the Whites will need them. |
