Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A handful of fresh blowdowns from this weekend. Anything smaller than 6" directly impeding travel I took the time to remove. It's hard to say with the 4'+ snowpack but parts of Isolation trail and especially Davis Path are in need of brushing. If the maintainer follows this page feel free to drop me a line this spring I will gladly volunteer my time. Same goes for blazing. Am I missing something? No apparent blazing that I saw, again I'd gladly spend some time out there. It would be quite difficult to follow in winter after a deep snow.

Comments
Comments: I took the Teal Goat's advice and went for it! Spikes car to car and hard packed the whole way, just stay on monorail. This will be null and void after tonight's snowstorm. At least it will help with the lower mile of Rocky Branch trail that is riddled with shallow post holes. As suggested bring a sturdy hard shell for portions of Isolation trail and especially Davis Path. It gets tight due to immense snow pack. Great day and great views and the birch glades were nothing short of amazing.
