| Comments: |
A fantastic day in The Whites - a cloudless blue sky, temps 10-15 degrees, and winds only reaching 25 mph on the summit platform. Summit views were the usual spectacular 360 degree panorama. The trail was a stable trench of packed sugar snow from car to summit, but step off to the side and you posthole to above the knee. Old postholes were easily avoided. We wore microspikes car-to-car without issue. |
