Comments
Comments: Don't miss Willey Ridge south of Field (just east of summit) and go north to Tom by mistake. How the three of us spaced out and ignored the direction of the lovely, bright sun escapes me. Added a mile to the trip AND made us come down steeper Avalon instead of gentler A-Z. Butt sliding has made Avalon Trail above Avalon spur slippery to climb and descend. I wish I'd brought my resharpened Hillsounds instead of my newish MicroSpikes.
