Not that this will be useful to anyone after the incoming storm, but...
Trails were perfect today. Hard-packed sidewalk that offered plenty of traction for your spikes to bite into. Trail crampons went for a ride. Could I have used them? Sure, but definitely not a need at all. Never felt that there was anything my spikes couldn’t handle. So glad I decided to play hooky and get out today. Perfect winter day in the Whites. |
