A touch of minor water on the trail, all easy to step over. |

One blowdown on Crawford Path shortly after leaving the AMC Highland Center, but a well-worn path around it. |

Crawford Path is a firm monorail the whole way. Though, step a bit off, and you'll go to about your waist. As you come out of tree cover and approach the summit, there are some larger sections of ice. It was fine in microspikes, though some may prefer crampons. I spent the day in microspikes, and carried crampons and snowshoes. |
