Comments
Comments: Had initially intended to do Pierce and Eisenhower, but decided I didn't have it in me for the grind of the wind chill above tree line today, so I grabbed this bunch. Frozen sidewalk for most of the hike; there's a few sections where the trail narrows and was slightly choppy from the summit of Avalon to Field, but it's firm underneath. Spikes the whole way. Views were fantastic, and the brisk air kept you moving. Great day out .
