Comments
Comments: An amazingly bluebird sky day! Presidentials were an amazing sight! Skies were clear though winds on open ledges were really strong which required bundling up - but fortunately open stretches were short. Snowshoes were the footwear of choice of almost eveyone today. 19 MB a nice packed sidewalk as was Carter Dome up to Zeta Pass - Carter Moriah was also solidly packed though there were stretches that we drifted in though still solid - given the traffic today trail was easy to follow - there are many stretches you'll be pushing through branches. Carter Moriah heading towards North Carter saw only one set of boot tracks and they were sinking deep. North Carter Trail nicely packed out but at the top you'll also be pushing through banches in stretches - Imp was an absolute Joy heading down! Camp Dodge bushwack is pretty much an established and well packed out trail. Lots of people out today and a hello to the gentleman I met on the Bonds and Carrigain last summer!
