Comments
Comments: Trails and Engine Hill whack are well tracked and hard packed. The Iso-Davis shortcut seemed to be just a touch softer but still supportive. I took snowshoes mainly for the Engine Hill whack but ditched them in the woods on Isolation Trail when it became apparent they weren't needed. Wore Microspikes the entire day without regret. Staying on the center line was key - taking a step off to the side pretty much guaranteed punching through.

Skies were blue, sun was high but the winds made for a short summit stay. Good views from the elevated Davis Path also. I saw maybe 10-12 others out there today. Nice chatting with John in the birch glades and again in the lot.
