Holy ice! I've been hiking in Pawtuckaway State Park for 15+ years, and the conditions today were some of the most icy I've ever seen there. Myself and my two friends were originally planning to hike South Peak and initially started toward it on the glacier-like Tower Trail Connector, but decided to cut over to Middle Peak and hike that since it looked less icy. Overall, it was less icy, but some areas still had some gnarly ice. After we got to the summit and the viewpoint at the end of the trail, we decided to bushwhack down the southern side of Middle Peak to get to Tower Rd. Good thing we did- the bushwhack was almost completely snow and ice free and was ironically the safest part of the entire hike.
All three of us wore microspikes and struggled with a lot of the icy areas, so until the next good dumping of snow, I'd recommend bringing crampons as well if you have them.
