Comments
Comments: Brisk cold with moderate gusty wind <20. Views sunny and clear as can be, all the way to Big George, 360. Winslow is heavily iced; only 1 of 3 of our dogs could manage the area around the rock benches. advise good light traction or crampons/ice ax, unless you like to struggle with slippery ice. We retreated for dogs, then did Barlow, which has manageable ice, although upper section has some areas difficult without good traction. Summit area mostly bare rock.
Views as good as it gets.
Recommend doing this mountain now ONLY with good traction; dogs ONLY if they are very good hikers.
