We encountered several and they all seemed happy. |

Trail is in the best condition for this time of year. Almost the entire trail is good snow, packed down, solid. There's one section with a big ice floe which is easily avoided if you don't have traction. We used microspikes. Not sure how it would feel without traction. There are just a few postholes, very visible. |
