Made a late afternoon trek up to HoJo's. Trail was hard packed by lots of traffic and the snowcat. Minimal ice, mainly on the bridges. Cold start at about 15 degrees and dropped to about -2 degrees at HoJo's. Winds were blowing pretty hard overhead. Ran into plenty of others descending as we were climbing, most going to tree line and turning around. One hiker said that he did summit. Lots of skier traffic on the Sherbie. Felt good to get out after fighting a cold for over a week. |
