| Comments: |
The recent rain and warm temperature followed by the rapid freezing transformed the trail into concrete. It’s well packed and easily feasable with microspikes or crampons. Snowshoes not required at any point.
We were the last to enter the trail this morning. A couple of other groups hiked this peak today. Very stable packed trail with very few damaged sections by postholes. No need to bring snowshoes. The trail is concrete hard. Excellent view up there, it was all cleared up. However the wind chill was violent. |
