Comments
Comments: Warm temps from the day before and a re-freeze resulted in a solid trail. Very few postholes, generally in good shape. As you near the hut, the trail that is broken out is not the trail. Made a mistake and couldn't find the trail up there back in December and it seems to have been perpetuated. You end up coming out on the Washington side of the hut. Used Hillsound Trail Crampons up and down. Some in the group switched to heavier duty traction on the way down which I would have done had I brought any. It would have been helpful in a few spots.
