Comments
Comments: Zealand Road and Hale Brook Trail were both packed down. Spikable but will post hole. Snowshoes strongly recommended.

Trails were in good condition. Hale Brook Trail was packed down but upper part the snow was still loose. Very few postholes when I was headed to the summit but on the way down the trail was kinda chopped up. The zigzag parts were a little tricky ; need to hug the uphill side as the downhill side the snow was deep and loose. I saw a hiker going down in front of me making way for the hikers coming up; he stepped to the downhill side and sank to his thighs.
