The owner of the property across the street from where we parked on Alton Mt. Road approached us after the hike and informed us that he had made a hiker parking on his property with a bridge to access the trail and we were welcome to park there instead of on the muddy dirt road we did park on. |

Cinder had a great time. Easy dog friendly hike. |

The leaves made it difficult to see what was under foot. The blueberry pasture trail is not marked at all and we had a few difficult choices to make. After a couple of "wrong ways" we managed to find the summit of Straightback. From there the link and the red trail were very well marked. |
