Comments
Comments: Followed Brown Ash for under a mile, then began our bushwhack at a small piece of orange flagging tape. This lets you avoid the lower summit between Cone and Dickey. We broke 1-2 foot deep snow through mostly open woods, skirting gradually around the larger cliffs that mark the approach. Snow was much deeper as we neared the beautiful summit cairn and register. Gorgeous views, but the pines are getting taller, partially obstructing to amazing view of Welch, Dickey.
