| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking was full when I arrived after noon at both the main and the other spot closer to the Highland Center. I found a narrow spot to pull part way in so they could use their doors, but fortunately got back and was gone before they returned. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was fast, well packed and flat, much easier going up and down than in summer. I took out a few small minor bendovers, and there are two easy duckunders up high. The branch to Webster looks like it was broken out but I talked to two women who said after the pool the tracks are gone. I talked to 3 guys who couldn't find the Webster Cliff trail on Jackson. I didn't look for it. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Very easy trail for the mighty tough little dog. He meet up again with Kara but reportedly missed Tara and Madison. I put a lot of vaseline on Pepper's paws but the trail was such it probaby didn't matter; it wasn't an icy paw day. |

| Comments: |
When the wind is strong Jackson is perfect. The trees shelter us most of the way, the hike is short, and the strong winds on top give us a bit of adventure while reminding us why we didn't do a Five Thousand Footer. We got a very late start but the hike is so short and fast now we got back home at a typical time. I thought there would be more people on the trails given the full lots, but some were probably doing bigger loops. Fun hike but it would have been nice to see Tara in her suit and boots. |
