One crossing on Round Pond at a property boundary (between E. Gilford and the ski area) was snow bridged but sketchy; cracked while I crossed. Whoever was coming up from the ski area stopped there. |

From Gunstock parking to Belknap basically should be in snowshoes but that hasn't stopped some postholers. Broke out everything after the White/E Gilford split; ledges on E. Gilford and Boulder are sketchy in snowshoes (loose snow on hard ice on rock) and needed crampons for the last ledges on Boulder and the actual boulder slope. Some deep breaking out on Round Pond-Piper link especially; slight divots like someone's been there before this winter but it's clearly been awhile. |
