Parked 1 vehicle approx 1 mile on S. Pond Rd. at a road Y-jct.
Parked other vehicle .1 mile further in a plowed spot that appeared to be the entrance of a former logging road. |

Constant SE route led us through a logging roads and clearcuts and then through open hardwoods to mixed open woods. Grade was always easy all the way to the recognized high point.
Breaking snow depth - always at least 12" with occasional deeper spots. Beautiful, cold day, cobalt blue skies with expansive views of the Percys and the Longs.
