Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A couple that you can hop right over in one stride.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was clear, no blowdowns, just some low hanging limbs due to snow weight. Crawford Path sign at the split to the Mitzpah Cutoff is about 4’ from being covered in snow...probably less with last night’s snow since I posted this a day late.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No four-legged friends or anything for them to be weary of.
Bugs
Bugs: Not so much.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nope

Comments
Comments: -5 degrees, “felt like” -26 at the base with 30+ MPH winds, but the wind was a non-factor once on the trail. Trail was well packed, a few 5’ postholes just inches off the monorail. Final few hundred feet had some unpacked powder due to drifts which snowshoes would help...especially above tree line. Micro spikes the rest of the way were just fine.
