Coppermine, room for a couple cars part-way up the road at the sign where it says no parking beyond there. Walk up the road.
Mt Kinsman Tr not plowed, people had driven in. If you have a high-clearance vehicle with good tires you can probably make it. |

 | Comments: |
Were heading for Kinsmans via Mt Kinsman Tr, but not plowed and we didn't want to drive and risk getting the car stuck.
So we went up to Coppermine. Put spikes on at the car for the icy road-walk. Trail was well-packed. You'll posthole if you step off the trail. Carried snowshoes but didn't use them due to the hard-packed, slightly lumpy surface.
Ice on the river was amazing, as were the falls. Also evidence of water channels that must've been ripping on Thurs when it rained and was warm. Quite windy and snowflakes started 11:30, on-schedule.
