Found a map that the gentleman in front of me had dropped. Caught up and returned it to him. Earlier he noticed I had left a Microspike on the ground during a break and pointed it out so I was able to return the favor! |

Planned to summit Carter Dome via Hight but at the trail jct I noticed the trail up to Hight was unbroken. Since the views from Hight are fantastic, I decided to break trail up Hight. What a fight it was. Steep, deep drifts, styrofoam snow not strong enoug to hold my weight, got off trail a couple of times. I made it but I was just too beat to continue to Carter. No matter. The views were amazing! |
