 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The brook crossing was a bit tricky in snowshoes. We crossed on the small log provided. Water depth was just deep enough on one end that we didn’t want to walk through the water with snowshoes for fear of it going above our boot height and getting our feet wet.
The crossing of the actual falls was a bit sketchy due to the water depth and the absence of a complete snow/ice bridge. I continued across at this point and my mother chose to stay behind. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple of learners. Broke some of the small twigs off of them to make them easier to go through. The trail is well blazed in yellow until shortly after the crossing of the falls where the blazes all of a sudden are few and far between and very faded (perhaps the trail ended sooner?) |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I imagine the crust would support them but I don’t know if the crossing of the falls would be safe for them.
